We are always looking for people with the following skills:

  • Service Crews

Over the years, our service crew has gained a vast amount of experience at running and supporting large events, from traffic and parking management, maintaining the facilities, running activities to dealing with any problems or issues that occur. Our service crew pride themselves in going that extra mile for our campers.

Frylands Wood has a large number of activities available to groups; the service crew are able to instruct all of them. Many of the crew members have qualifications such as GNAS for Archery, and NSRA for Rifle Shooting, and climbing. Most of the qualifications are gained whilst at Frylands Wood.

The Frylands Wood service crew are not just a group of volunteers. Although they work hard, they have a great time doing it. Many of the crew socialise outside of the campsite, and many have got married and had children, some of whom are now service crew members themselves! They are a family!
