We’ve got two Orienteering courses at Frylands, giving visitors a great chance to explore the whole campsite, and break the ‘Frylands Code’!
Orienteering sessions at Frylands Wood are run across the site, starting and finishing at the office. The aim is to use the map to locate the various controls (checkpoints) around the site, collecting the letters/numbers at each as you go. We can provide site maps with the locations of all the signs
Orienteering is a self-led session, so please ensure you read, understand & sign the related ‘Conditions of Use’ before starting the session. It will then be your responsibility to ensure the session is run in as safe a manner as possible, including managing your participants behaviour throughout. However, Frylands Wood staff are always happy to go through the instructions with you so that you can get the best out of your session.
Minimum Age: 5 years old
