Jason became our Deputy Manager in October 2024. It follows on from having successfully been our Interim Deputy Manager during a very summer season 2024 after Jorge’s departure. Jason has a real passion for Frylands Wood & knows exactly what needs to be done to help us improve.
He is no stranger to Frylands Wood and has been visiting since he was a Beaver and progressed through Cubs, Scouts and Explorers.
Jason was also a Scout Leader in Croydon District and has been crewing at Frylands Wood since 2013. In 2016, Jason started a level 2 apprenticeship in Outdoor Pursuits here at Frylands Wood. He then went on to complete a level 3 apprenticeship in Outdoor Activity Instructor in 2018.
Jason does love a good cup of Earl Grey tea so if you see him out and about don’t forget to offer him one.
