The Archery GB Instructor Award is the entry-level training course for people working in leisure, recreational and educational environments. The course is focused on training learners to deliver fun and safe introductory archery sessions. This course will be delivered by an accredited Archery GB tutor. Participants do not need previous experience of archery.
The course will run at Frylands Wood over 2 days, from 9 am to 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday so an intensive course. Please note you MUST be available for all of the course.
Cost £200.00 including workbook, assessment and refreshments
You have to be 17 years old by the final assessment day of the course.
The certificate is valid for 3 years. To remain as a recognised archery instructor by Archery GB, your Instructor Award certificate needs to be renewed every three years following your original course completion date. Archery GB will send you a reminder letter and guidelines on how to renew in advance of your certificate expiry date. You are no longer required to keep a log book of your activity but can now renew online, by completing a learning module which costs £40 to complete.
