Jorge has left his role as Deputy Centre Manager to become a London Firefighter, a lifelong ambition. We wish Jorge all the best but we’ll delighted to say he’ll be back at a volunteer helping us run events.
Jorge joined the team in late 2022. Originally from Venezuela, Jorge came to the UK as a volunteer at Gilwell Park where he learnt the skills to become a Senior Instructor at Downe Scout Campsite before stepping up to his current position here at Frylands Wood.
He is full of experience, from building high ropes courses to inspecting PPE. Jorge will be a great asset to the Centres future development.
